Are you 11-24? Find out about the work we’re doing in your area and how you can get involved!
The Your Shore Beach Rangers project works with 11-24 year olds in the community. We aim to inspire more young people to engage with the marine and coastal environment, delivering training, workshops and events to empower youth and young adults to protect our beautiful coastline, working closely with local voluntary conservation groups to support them to be more young person friendly.
The project delivers a wide variety of events across the county, both indoors, on the beach or the rocky shores, and in the ocean to ensure barriers to the marine environment are broken down.
We are lucky enough to offer a Business Administration apprenticeship in the project. We work closely with Cornwall Marine Network who provides the apprenticeship to ensure we get the perfect, passionate and enthusiastic candidate for the role.
This placement ensures that you receive the relevant skills and training to excel in the business environment.
The development of young people lies at the heart of our project. With this in mind, we can offer work experience placements to the right young people. We regularly need help with events and administration. Could this be the work experience placement for you?
There are so many ways to get involved with the project
The initial consultation is free. Depending on the needs of your business there may be additional costs via third party organisations.
It depends exactly what you want. We work with a range of experts including Cornwall Wildlife Trust, to provide specific support. We will match the right organisation to your needs.
Training can take place on or off site, depending on needs and numbers. Audits will take place on site so our expert can get a full understanding of your business.
We also host other training and networking events at locations across Cornwall.
We work with any sized business, from one person up to large organisations. Our aim is to help as many businesses as possible save money and make a difference to the planet.
No, just your enthusiasm and willingness to get involved in something great.
