My own visit

When I decided to visit Southern Italy, I had no idea what to expect. I’d heard that the beaches were some of the best in the world, and I was excited to check them out for myself.

After a long flight, I finally arrived in Naples. As soon as I got off the plane, I could feel the heat and humidity assaulting me. But despite the sweltering weather, I was determined to make the most of my trip.

I quickly made my way to Marina Grande, one of the busiest beaches in Naples. It didn’t take long for me to see why. The beach was packed with people, and there was always something going on.

I spent a few hours here relaxing and people watching. It was a lot of fun, but I eventually decided to move on. Next stop: Capri.

Capri is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in Southern Italy. The island is home to crystal-clear water and stunning beaches. I easily spent a day here just exploring the island and soaking up the sun.

But Capri is more than just a pretty face. The island also has a rich history dating back to ancient times. If you’re interested in sightseeing, there are plenty of options to choose from.

After a few days in Capri, it was time to move on. I caught a boat to the island of Lipari and made my way to Spiaggia dei Conigli. This secluded beach can only be reached by boat, but it’s well worth the effort.

The water here is crystal-clear and the sand is white as snow. I spent a few hours here relaxing before heading back to the mainland.

Overall, I had an incredible time in Southern Italy. The beaches are some of the best in the world, and there’s so much more to see and do than just lying on the sand. If you’re looking for a place to relax and have some fun, Southern Italy is the perfect destination.

We always recommend bringing a rolling beach cart.

You could go out and buy one, but where’s the fun in that? Instead, try making your own beach bag from scratch.

With just a few supplies and some basic sewing skills, you can have a new beach bag in no time- check out one of our favorite videos and make sure to read all our tips below:

One of the main challenges that people face when trying to make their own beach bag is figuring out how to get started.

This can be daunting, but don’t worry- we’re here to help. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps of making your own beach bag.

It is important to have a beach bag when you go to the beach. You need one so that you can take your things with you like your toys, snacks, and sunscreen.

When it comes to fabric for the bag, there are many different options that are fun and pretty- I would recommend pink!

How to make a DIY beach bag

1. Choose the fabric for your beach bag

You can find fabric at any local craft store, or online. When it comes to choosing the right fabric for your bag, think about what will work best for you. If you want a bag that is lightweight and easy to carry, choose a fabric like cotton or linen. If you are looking for a beach bag that is more sturdy and can hold a lot of weight, then you may want to choose a fabric like denim or twill.

2. Decide on the size of your beach bag

The size of your beach bag will depend on how much you want to carry with you. If you are only taking a towel and some sunscreen, then you can probably get away with a smaller bag. If you want to bring a change of clothes, some snacks, and a book, then you will need a bigger bag.

3. Cut your fabric to the desired size

Once you have chosen the fabric for your beach bag, cut it to the desired size. You can make your beach bag any shape that you like, but a common shape is a rectangle.

4. Sew the fabric together

Once you have cut your fabric to the desired size, sew it together using a sewing machine. If you don’t know how to sew, you can always ask someone at your local craft store to help you out.

5. Add a strap to your beach bag

The last step is to add a strap to your bag. This will make it easier to carry your bag over your shoulder. You can use any type of fabric for the strap, but a common choice is rope. Once you have added the strap, your beach bag is complete!

6. Finish up your beach bag

Now that you know how to make a beach bag, put your skills to the test and create one of your own. Have fun with it and be creative! You can also add some more styling elements of it to really customize it for you. For example, add a monogram or some lace trim. The possibilities are endless!

What is the best beach bag pattern?

red and blue floral textile

You can also get creative and design your own pattern. If you are not sure how to sew, you can always ask someone at your local craft store to help you out.

There are also some great books that focus on sewing beach bags.

How to make a DIY beach bag with no sewing

If you don’t know how to sew, or if you don’t have a sewing machine, that’s okay. You can still make a beach bag without sewing. All you need is some fabric, scissors, and a hot glue gun.

1. Cut the fabric to the desired size

Once you have chosen the fabric for your beach bag, cut it to the desired size. You can make your beach bag any shape that you like, but a common shape is a rectangle.

2. Hot glue the fabric together

Once you have cut your fabric to the desired size, hot glue it together. This will create a seam where the fabric is glued together.

3. Add a strap to your beach bag

The last step is to add a strap to your bag. This will make it easier to carry your bag over your shoulder. You can use any type of fabric for the strap, but a common choice is rope. Once you have added the strap, your beach bag is complete!

How to wear it

Now that you’ve made your very own beach bag, it’s time to put it to good use! Here are a few tips on how to wear your new bag with style.

1. Sling it over your shoulder for a casual look.
